Some alloying elements raise the alpha-beta transition temperature (ie alpha stabilizers), while others lower the transition temperature (ie beta stabilizers). Aluminum, gallium, germanium, carbon, oxygen and nitrogen are alpha stabilizers. Molybdenum, vanadium, tantalum, niobium, manganese, iron, chromium, cobalt, nickel, copper and silicon are beta stabilizers.
Titanium Alloys are usually classified into three main categories:
* Alpha neutral alloys alloying elements (like lead) and / or alpha stabilisers (such as aluminum or oxygen alone. This is not heat treatable.
* Near-alpha alloys containing less elastic beta stage. In addition to alpha-phase stabilisers, near-alpha alloys are alloyed with 1-2% of the beta phase stabilizers such as molybdenum, silicon or Vanadium.
* Beta Alloys, which generally metastable and include some combination of both alpha and beta stabilisers, and heat that can be treated.
* Beta Alloys, which is metastable and that contains enough beta stabilisers (such as Molybdenum, Vanadium and silicon to allow them to maintain the beta phase when quenched, and which also can be recycled and increase the strength of old solutions.
Generally, alpha-phase titanium is stronger but less elastic and beta-phase titanium is more elastic. Alpha-beta-phase titanium has mechanical properties that exist between the two.

Atmosfir Lain Di Pasar Tradisional
Dulu aku adalah perempuan yang anti dengan pasar tradisional, karena becek, bau,penataan barang yang asal-asalan dan kadang pembeli berdesakan serta seambrek ketidaknyamanan lainnya.
Saat (Almh) mamaku masih ada dan sehat, beliaulah yang berbelanja ke pasar, aku hanya mengantar jemput beliau saja :D .
Namun saat kondisi mama mulai sakit-sakitan :( , maka akulah yang mengambil alih tugas berbelanja. Dan pilihan tempat berbelanjaku adalah hypermart (maaf bukan iklan bukan promosi), menurutku segala yang kami butuhkan telah tersedia di sana, dari bahan pangan kering hingga sayur dan buah-buahan
Hingga mama meninggal :( , aku masih enggan berbelanja ke pasar tradisional.
Beberapa hari yang lalu, saat subuh, papa secara mendadak memintaku untuk membuat rendang ayam, duuuhhh...padahal pukul 09 aku harus mengajar, sementara hypermart baru buka pukul 11. Mau gak mau aku harus ke pasar yang jaraknya hanya 2 km dari rumahku. Rencananya sih hanya mau beli bahan-bahan untuk rendang ayam aja, gak taunya sesampai di pasar aku melihat cabe,tomat,bawang dll yang masih segar, kutanyakan berapa harganya, eh gak taunya lebih murah dari harga di Hypermart. Jadi beli deh para gerombolan cabe, tomat dan bawang :D
Walau harus berjalan berjingkat dan menutup hidung, namun aku merasakan ada "suasana" lain yang belum pernah kutemui. Aku menjumpai seorang nenek yang duduk ndepipit diantara keranjang sayur milik penjual sayur di belakangnya, nenek itu hanya menjual beberapa bungkus jamur (entah jamur apa namanya,yang pasti aku belum pernah melihat jenis jamur yang seperti itu), pemandangan seperti itu seringkali membuat hatiku trenyuh. :(
Atau ketika aku terkejut saat melihat melihat pedagang keong yang biasanya ada di selokan (ternyata bisa dimakan ya?)..membayangkan keong itu tampil di meja makan hiiiii.....jijayyy :#
Sebenarnya pasar tradisional bukanlah pilihan tepat buatku yang tak pandai menawar, sehingga nyaris tidak ada harga yang lebih rendah yang kubayar dari harga penawaran penjual.
Ada beberapa sebab aku enggan menawar, salah satunya adalah aku tahu mereka hanya mendapatkan keuntungan beberapa ratus rupiah saja. (gak tega nawarnya, toh belanjaku juga sedikit)
Karena di pasar tradisional (yang tetap becek) aku menemukan "atmosfir" lain dan hal-hal baru, maka kini pasar tradisional adalah pilihanku untuk berbelanja, bukan semata-mata karena harganya lebih murah dan pilihannya beragam, namun juga karena aku bisa berbincang dengan penjualnya, bahkan kadang dengan sesama pembeli, dan hal-hal lain yang menambah khazanah ilmuku.

Mendengar dan Merespon
Setelah sekian abad :D gak posting, akhirnya bisa juga hari ini aku posting. Akhir-akhir ini banyak berita tentang sodomi. Nah salah seorang murid privatku, Karin,(kelas 4 SD) menanyakan hal itu padaku.
Karin : "Miss,sodomi itu apa?"
Aku : *Tersenyum sambil berpikir cepat,jawaban apa yang cocok untuknya yg belum belajar tentang reproduksi*
"Karin tau kata sodomi dari mana?"
Karin: "Dari berita di TV miss"
Aku : "Menurut Karin, sodomi itu apa?"
Karin : "Anak2 yang dikurung di kamar dan dipukuli orang gede" (orang gede itu maksudnya orang dewasa)
Aku : "Sodomi itu perbuatan yang dilarang Alloh, karena menyakiti orang lain, tapi bukan dikurung dan dipukuli"
Karin : "Apanya yang disakiti miss?"
Aku : "Miss Novi belum bisa menerangkan pada Karin apanya yang disakiti, karena Karin belum belajar tentang semua bagian2 tubuh manusia, seperti jantung, hati lambung dll, percuma kalau miss terangkan sekarang, karena Karin belum mengerti"
Hal-hal seperti diatas yang membuatku betah dan merindukan untuk mengajar, dan aku lebih memilih mengajar privat, karena bisa lebih dekat dengan murid.
Seringkali pertanyaan & celotehan mereka membuatku tersenyum bahkan terkaget2.
Sekarang ini aku belum menjadi seorang ibu, namun kebersamaanku dengan para murid membuat khazanah ilmuku bertambah dan semoga membuatku semakin bijaksana dalam bersikap.
Yuk kita sebagai orang yang lebih dewasa dari mereka memberikan jawaban2 atas pertanyaan mereka dengan jawaban yang tidak membohongi, namun sesuai dengan usia dan pemikiran mereka.

Ingat Alhm Mama tercinta
Hari ini aku,papa n abang kandungku berencana ke makam Almh mama, namun hujan deras menghalangi. So aku posting tulisan ini sambil menunggu hujan reda.
Tentu banyak kenangan bersama mama yang berhidung mancung (sayang gak nurun padaku :t )
Yang paling kukenang adalah setiap aku pulang ngajar di malam hari (pkl 22.00)mama selalu berkata "Dik habisin tuh sayurnya" (aku sangat gemar sayur n gak doyan ikan)
Sepeninggal mama, aku tak lagi mengajar hingga malam. Saat maghrib kuusahakan telah sampai di rumah, (gak tega ninggalin papa sendirian di rumah).
Dulu saat mama sakit, aku yg menggurus beliau,menggantikan pampers, memandikan,menyuapi & mengajak beliau cerita (mama mengalami pecah pembuluh darah di otak, yg mengakibatkan tidak mampu menegakkan kepala, sehingga sepanjang beliau sakit, beliau hanya berbaring di ranjang saja)
Aku bukan orang yang suka memendam marah ataupun sedih berlarut-larut. Setelah 3 hari sepeninggal mama, aku mulai beraktivitas seperti semula, kupikir mama sekarang hanya memerlukan doa dan tetap menjaga nama baik beliau.
Namun rasa kehilangan,sedih,kangen dan rasa sesal kadang muncul dengan tiba-tiba dan dimanapun aku berada (aku pernah nangis saat berkendara, hanya gara-gara ada seorang ibu yang menyeberang sendirian, trus aku tiba-tiba ingat mama, karena ibu tsb sebaya mama)
Begitu pula saat aku membersihkan almari mama, lagi-lagi tangisku tak terbendung karena di almari mama ada foto-foto jadul, saat aku bayi di gendong mama :C)
Apalagi jika mengenang saat mama berkata "Dik mama ingin liat adik punya anak"
(sampai akhir hayat beliau hal ini blom terwujud)
Andaikan saja........... hickz..(maaf gak bisa nerusin posting, kepalaku tiba-tiba pusing n tangisku kembali berderai)

300 Gold Coins Founded in Jerussalem
A beginner archaeologists found 300 British 24-Karat gold coins in the excavation site near the Old City of Jerusalem. The coins are expected to come from the Roman rule of the century Heraclius-ketujuh.koin coins are also proving Heraclius heyday before the Persian conquest of Jerusalem.
These coins are not the first time found around the Old City. But this discovery is the largest than ever.
Nadine Ross, the British archaeologist, just one month was involved in the excavation. "This is really interesting. We have found historical objects from clay, glass, and gold coins now," said Ross was quoted as saying Telegraph.uk.
While Israeli archeology department admitted surprised by the discovery. "This is the most impressive discoveries ever found in the Jerusalem. This is the most important coins in the period," the statement said Israel's archaeological authority.
"Since none of the land of historical objects found in a location adjacent excavation findings, we conclude there is something valuable objects behind a wall of the Old City's building".
While Doron Ben Ami, the archaeologist who was involved in excavating the Old City said, the coin is thought to be a hidden treasure someone when Persians attacked Jerusalem in the early seventh century.
